Route from Caló de S’Oil to Punta Rasa

Start your journey: Once your boat is ready at Náutica Pins, begin your journey by steering to port (left) until you reach Caló de S’Oil. This is a great first stop for a swim, allowing you to get comfortable aboard the boat.

Continue to Punta de Sa Pedrera: Sail toward Punta de Sa Pedrera, where you’ll find natural pools and beautiful coves—ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Head to Punta Gavina and Cala Saona: Keep navigating toward Punta Gavina Tower. Just beyond it, you’ll arrive at the famous Cala Saona, a charming cove well-known to us at Náutica Pins. It’s a popular anchorage for beautiful yachts, offering clear turquoise waters and a sandy beach. You’ll find beach bars and traditional restaurants serving paella, sangría, and other local delicacies. Be sure to respect the yellow buoys near the beach and anchor responsibly.

To wrap up your boat trip, head to the Punta Rasa area.
This region is famous for its stunning sea caves—an ideal place to enjoy a snack or a full meal onboard while soaking in the natural surroundings.

This boat route in Formentera is a must-do experience, offering a unique way to discover the island’s unspoiled beauty from the sea.

Boat Route through S’Espalmador and Ses Illetes

Start by steering starboard from the Bocana, moving away from La Savina Port.
At Náutica Pins, we recommend avoiding this area due to the constant traffic of arriving and departing ferries.

Navigate straight toward the beach near Molí de Sal.
Here you’ll find the famous Ses Illetes Beach—part of a protected natural park with an expansive stretch of white sand. This area is renowned for hosting some of the world’s most iconic luxury yachts. It’s a great place to swim, enjoy lunch, or have a light snack on board.

At the end of Ses Illetes, you’ll reach Punta des Trucadors.
Be cautious of the strong currents in the channel between the two islands, as crossing is strictly prohibited. Make sure to follow the marked navigation route carefully.

Head towards S’Espalmador Beach,
a peaceful anchorage spot with a pristine, untouched beach. While there are no beach bars here, it’s an ideal location to drop anchor, go for a swim, and take a relaxing stroll along its paradise-like shoreline.
A prior reservation is required to anchor at one of the designated buoys—both in S’Espalmador and Caló de S’Oli. You can book through the following link: https://reservas.portsib.es/reservas/es/

This is one of our favorite routes at Náutica Pins, offering a truly unique sailing experience that showcases Formentera’s natural beauty and crystal-clear waters.

Continue sailing towards Es Pujols, a popular seaside town known for its white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. You can anchor near the shore and enjoy your first swim of the day.

4º Then head south until you reach Cala en Baster. This area is famous for its dramatic cliffs and transparent waters—ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Drop anchor here to explore the marine life and soak up the peaceful, natural scenery.
